HR Representative/Compliance Officer

A Nursing Home Group in New York is looking to hire an HR Representative/Compliance Officer to work in the New York Metro Area (job will be based in one of the Five Boroughs. Must be willing to travel within a 50-mile radius on a regular basis.



Job Description:

· Work together with the Corporate Staffing Department to monitor timekeeping procedures in our buildings

· Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information in order to detect violations of policy

· Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records

· Meet with staff to educate & counsel them on timekeeping policies

· Issue disciplinary actions to employees for violations of timekeeping policies

· Track each employees disciplinary process and issue recommendations to hiring managers on suspensions & terminations of staff

· Any other duties requested



Ideal Candidate:

· 3+ years previous Human Resources experience

· Have a vehicle and be able to travel within a 50-mile radius of New York City.

· Organized, detail oriented, and multi tasker

· Well spoken & able to present to staff in a clear & concise manner

· Excellent communication skills and ability to be assertive when necessary
