The Healthcare Solutions Sales Director provides sales leadership for business development in both the provider and payer side of the healthcare market. This individual will support our North American field organization and partner channel in their sales efforts to both our existing client base as well as new prospects. This individual requires strong healthcare industry knowledge on how to solve Enterprise Information Management and Business Intelligence challenges through the application of the Information Builders solutions stack. Primary responsibilities include direct sales support and sales strategy guidance throughout the sales cycle, marketing program development to drive new lead generation, education of IB personnel involved in healthcare business development, and proactive partner interaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.


â¾Participate in Account Planning and Strategy

â¾Provide Subject Matter Expertise on early executive calls to establish Credibility

â¾Present Company Industry Vision, Value, and Competitive Differentiation at Customer/Prospect Briefings and Final presentations

â¾Have large relationship network of HCO Executives as lead sources (act as a Rainmaker to initiate large opportunities)

â¾Manage and project Industry forecast and pipeline

â¾Lead the Business Value Assessment (BVA) Program


â¾Provide Subject Matter Expertise on early executive calls to establish Credibility

â¾Support new channel opportunities to identify and develop joint value proposition

â¾Build Go to Market plan and goals with Partner Manager

â¾Identify with partner and field the right opportunities to work on together and establish cadence to review progress


â¾Identify markets ripe for IBI solutions (for example IDNâs, and FQHCâs)

â¾Speak at and represent IBI at conferences

â¾Create Presentation Materials (For example First Call Presentation/Briefing Books)

â¾Write or contribute to Industry White Papers and Fact Sheets

â¾Develop Campaigns with Marketing


â¾Multi-touch Email Campaigns

â¾Virtual User Forums

â¾Work with Corporate Marketing to create success stories

â¾Executive Interface to Healthcare Analyst Community (i.e. KLAS)


â¾Executive Sponsor for Key Client Executives

â¾Lead Healthcare Collaborative

â¾Lead and manage IBI Industry Resource Priorities (i.e. Colt and Bill Moroz)

â¾Lead Bi-Weekly Field Healthcare Industry Calls

â¾Research Industry and competitive information to inform go to market sales and product strategies

â¾Sales Training

â¾Sales Guides

â¾Battle Cards

â¾Product and Presentation Training


Travel is required.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Required :
Bachelorâs Degree in a business discipline with at least 10 years of industry experience, with a demonstrated knowledge of the healthcare provider / payer market and the high technology/business software applications market.

Preferred :
Extensive healthcare market background & industry knowledge. Ideal candidate will have a background working in a business development leadership role for a consulting firm and / or a software solution provider dealing with C level executives in establishing a value proposition and strategy to address their enterprise requirements on both a business and technical level.
