We are a fast-growing commercial construction company, with offices in Rockland County and Brooklyn.

Due to our growth, we are looking to bring an experienced Controller/CFO on board to head up our existing accounting team.

This position will be responsible for:

· Managing and training our accounting staff

· Maintaining a system of accounting policies and procedures

· Overseeing all accounting operations, including billing, collections, cash management and project cost accounting.

· Improving and automating existing processes of the accounting department

· Ensuring delivery of timely and accurate financial statements and operational metrics to owners & stakeholders

· Participating in and guiding strategic financial decisions of the business

Required skills and experience include:

· Accounting or business education (CPA preferred)

· Extensive accounting and management experience

· Excellent communication skills

· Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks

· Preferred: Familiarity with construction software, job costing, WIP schedules, AIA billing
