Senior Asset Manager

Private equity real estate acquisition and management company, is seeking a Senior Asset Manager with experience in the multifamily housing sector. This capable and highly motivated individual will be responsible to oversee implementation and execution of the business plan outlined for each asset, with a very strong focus in asset management, tracking asset performance, budgets, decision support, and analytics.

Responsibilities:

· Responsible for all aspects of financial and asset management for a large Northeast multifamily portfolio

· Developer of financial systems, asset management reports, project budgets, monthly and quarterly performance reports and variances


· Driver of analysis, advice and execution of complex mission-driven business decisions.


· Interacts with regional managers to provide data analysis and consultation services through the use of measurement tools and reporting systems.


· Extensive involvement in performance improvement initiatives (development, implementation and monitoring) and recommending improvement strategies.


· Link between finance, facility operations management and senior executives to achieve asset management objectives and to improve the revenue stream and cost efficiencies


· Participate in monthly and quarterly reporting to partners and principals of the firm
Material amounts of interfacing with principals, equity partners and lenders



Requirements:
A minimum of 3-5 years of meaningful, in-depth real estate asset management and financial analysis experience, preferably in multifamily
Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills that can be used to clearly portray data/information,
Experience managing and overseeing value-creation and turnaround strategies of multifamily properties
Meaningful investment experience working with institutional equity partners
An excellent working knowledge of all MS suite programs, especially Excel, as well as PowerPoint, Word, Project;
Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written
Outstanding organizational and multi-tasking skills; ability to work independently in high-energy environment
Ability and willingness to travel occasionally to portfolio assets.
