One of our clients, a growing beauty company located in Times Square, NYC, is looking for a Telesales Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of up to 40 sales representatives who meet sales targets through telemarketing. The main challenge will be building, recruiting, training and managing a telemarketing center and achieving adequate sales pipelines. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.



Responsibilities:
‚ĘThe role is responsible for auditing team members' sales presentation techniques and customer interactions during formal presentations and telephone conversations
‚ĘResponsible for working with Human Resources for recruiting and interviewing inside sales team members
‚ĘThis position also acts as liaison with the Sales Training organization to insure that new hire and existing team members are fully trained on products being sold as well as effective presentation techniques
‚ĘManage daily sales activities of inside sales team responsible for their annually assigned product portfolio as derived by Senior Sales Management. This management responsibility includes coaching, advising, negotiating and communicating on behalf of team members with internal departments
‚ĘThe sales manager will also have direct customer interaction to facilitate closing sales and/or handling issues as warranted
‚ĘMonitor, audit and report on daily team member activities and database accuracy to insure accurate overall sales reporting as well as other activities (telephone talk time, customer demonstrations, number of outbound calls, etc.)
‚ĘPrepare and present at Quarterly Business Reviews to explain the sales results and trends and significant accomplishments, issues within the team
‚ĘAssist with development of training as well as facilitation of training to the sales team on an as needed basis.
‚ĘConduct weekly team meetings to discuss sales activities and plans to facilitate team and individual sales success



Skills and Experience:

‚Ę Bachelor‚s Degree

‚Ę 2 to 4 years of sales/telemarketing experience

‚Ę 3 to 5 years of management experience

· Prior proven experience in building, managing and training a telemarketing center

‚Ę Excellent Written and Verbal Communication Skills

‚Ę Excellent Leadership Skills

‚Ę Ability to interact with customers in a positive and constructive way in difficult circumstances

‚Ę Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to gain maximum efficiencies

‚Ę Proficient at public speaking and presentation skills

‚Ę Ability to use Salesforce.com for managing sales pipeline activity
